Carmel College offers many music and art opportunities for the students. Every year Carmel does well at various competitions in which different music groups participate in. There are plenty of Music and Art groups that offer a range of musical and Artistic skills and opportunities.

  • Barbershop Chorus (Bella A Capella) came 1st place in the Auckland regionals.

  • Barbershop Quartets; The Awesome 4some came 1st and T.N.T came 3rd at the Auckland regionals.

  • All Barbershop groups will be going to Wellington to compete in the National competition this month.

  • The Senior Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra has recently come back from camp at Epworth Retreat in Cambridge and played for Matamata Christian School. In a few weeks they will be competing at the KBB Music Festival in Auckland. Gook Luck!

  • Congratulations to all participants of Stage Challenge for their performance

  • Thankyou to the Cast and Directors of our school production "Grease"
