




The Transition department consists of: Year 11 Transition, year 11 Leap, year 12 Gateway and year 13 Gateway.
Year 11 Transition is a class that parents must talk to the school to get the student a placement in. Transition opens opportunities for students that wish to go onto a tertiary institute instead of university to find the subject they wish to study and facility they wish to study at. Year 11 Leap is a class that is compulsory for students that are taking 2 option choices in year 11.Leap offers the chance to take a large number of unit standards so you can be assured that you will have the needed credits to pass the year. On this page you will find a link to the leap syllabus.
Year 12 Gateway is a class in which the only entry requirement is showing an interest in exploring career options and the future beyond school. It opens opportunities for students to find an area of work in which they have the ability to succeed through a work experience program. On this page you will find a link to the 12 Gateway syllabus.
Year 13 Gateway is a class in which the only entry requirement is showing an interest in exploring career options and the future beyond school. It opens opportunities for students to find an area of work in which they have the ability to succeed through a work experience program. This class also offers information on how to live in the adult world. On this page you will find a link to the 13 Gateway syllabus.
