E.O.T.C week has been a part of Carmel tradition and is much anticipated by many Year Eight students. They participate in activities like ...

Rockclimbing - held at Mt Eden Quarry and Birkenhead Leisure Centre.

Swimming and surf life saving - teaches the students safety in the water and is held at The Millenium Centre.

Camping - held at Muriwai, this is the highlight of the week. The girls sleep there for one night. Activities on camp include orienteering, Trivial Pursuit and a treasure hunt.

Mountain biking - The girls travel to Woodhill where they can go through the forest and complete an obstacle course on a bike.

High ropes- also held at Woodhill Forest, Snorkelling - Birkenhead Leisure centre, Team building games and much more...the activities have changed over the years but the spirit of EOTC has remained the same.. Developing the girls "Have a Go" attitude and team building are the main aims of the week.
