The PTFA is multi-talented, fun-loving group of past and present parents who organise events and activities to raise money to provide the ‘extras' they would like to see available for their daughters.

The annual Carmel Fun Run held during February/March and the Art Fusions art exhibition in August are two of their main events.

The PTFA provides an annual donation for scholarships, Dux awards, Spirit of NZ sponsorship, sports uniforms, library books and the Student Welfare fund. Over the past few years they have also:

• provided funds for a new Intermediate Deck
• gifted a James Wright bronze wind vane in the front garden to commemorate our Jubilee celebrated in 2007.
• assisted with the Carmel NZ delegates trip to the FIRST Robotics Atlanta Finals competition in April 2008.
