use ICT across all learning areas.
Computing as a subject is taught within the
Technology - ICT learning area at Carmel. We offer a
wide range of computing and ICT topics including: Business Administration, Using Computer Applications, Multimedia and Technology Projects, Computer Graphics and Programming. Visit the

We have a range of computer equipment at Carmel:
PC Computer LAB-20 - this room is used by
timetabled junior ICT classes during
Option A and
Option D. It is available for booking at other times for specialist ICT classes and computer assessments - please use the
Ultranet Booking system.
It is open at
lunchtime 1.00 pm to 1.30 for students to complete school work (provided the rostered Year 13 computer monitors are present).
PC Computer LAB-21 - this room is used by
timetabled senior ICT and Computing classes during
Options A,B,D,E F and H - it is available for booking during
Option C - please use the
Ultranet Booking system.
COWS - Computers on Wheels - we have three of these in the school in the
Science/Maths department and the Library with 10 - 16 wireless PC laptops in each - they are available for booking through the
Ultranet Booking system for senior classes.
MAC Art-LAB - this facility is used mainly by the photography and design students. It is not available for general class booking.

respect ALL rooms and equipment and leave the resources as you found them to ensure they are working properly for the next class.
