Auditory learners learn best by hearing information. They can usually remember information more accurately when it has been explained to them orally.

Some study tips for auditory learners:


1. Look at the problem

2. Repeat it out loud

3. Close your eyes and repeat it again                               

4. Write the answer

5. If the answer is incorrect, repeat the answer out loud

6. Whenever possible use your finger or a bookmark to avoid skipping lines or words

7. Repeat instructions out loud and then write them down

8. Read written material aloud and then write it in your own words 

9. Explain aloud how a problem should be solved

10. Record yourself on tapes and replay them                                                        

11. To memorise facts read aloud over and over

12. When you need to write an essay, brainstorm your ideas on tape and then listen to it to outline a rough draft

13. When learning facts, use rhymes or songs to remember them

14. Watch videos on the subject your trying to learn.
