Find an environment that suits you best. e.g. If you can't concentrate, try going somewhere quiet, like the library.

Keep all your notes organised.

Create acronyms e.g. NBA National Basketball Associations.

Learn the most important information first.

Try to learn only around 3-4 pieces of information at one time.

Stick to a healthy diet e.g. fruit, vegetables and nuts. Avoid coffee, sugary drinks and lollies.

While at school, write important notes while the teacher is talking.

Take regular breaks from your study. Try going for a walk.

Hightlight key words and sentances.

Keep to an efficient study schedule, try drawing up a study timetable to help you manage your time.

Make sure to get about eight hours of sleep a day.

Briefly review your notes before going to bed.

Think positive and make goals for yourself.

Test yourself, use past papers or questions you have created yourself.

Go over notes repeatedly.

Drink lots of water. It is important to keep hydrated to help you concentrate.
